In Illinois there is an extensive process for Radon Mitigators to complete before they can obtain a license.

The State of Illinois requires three steps to be a Certified Radon Mitigation Contractor:

  1. Complete an IEMA approved Qualification Course

  2. Apply for and pass the Illinois Licensing Exam

  3. Apply for a license
